Study Tools

Medical Language Lab comes with a Pronunciation Guide and Audio Tutorials to support your learning. You can find them in two places: at the bottom of your Dashboard page in the Study Tools section shown above, and in your Resources tab, which you can click into from your toolbar [1]. Once you're on the Resources page, you can use the tabs to toggle to either the Audio Tutorials or the Pronunciation Guide [2].

Audio Tutorials

In the Audio Tutorials section, you will find recorded mini lessons with study tips and extra information for each module. Click on the name of a tutorial (in red text) to show the audio, and then press play to listen to it.

Pronunciation Guide

The Pronunciation Guide is loaded with definitions and audio pronunciations of the medical terms you need to know. You can filter terms by module in the module dropdown menu [1], search for a specific term [2], or filter terms alphabetically [3]. To listen to an audio pronunciation recording, click the audio button next to the term.
