Accessing the online resources that accompany the VitalSource eBook of your F.A. Davis textbook

1. Log into your VitalSource Bookshelf at https://bookshelf.vitalsource.com.

 

2. If your eBook has courseware resources, you’ll see this icon on the cover.

 

 

3. When you click on the image of your eBook or launch your eBook, a box will pop up in the top-right corner with the message “This item contains an access code. Click here to reveal.”

 

 

4. A popup with instructions on accessing your Courseware content will appear. Click "Continue."

 

 

5. Another popup will appear. Click "Reveal Access Code." 

 

 

6. Copy the access code that's revealed. From here, you can click "View Website" to be taken to your FADavis.com login screen.

 

 

7. Once you're logged into your FADavis.com account, paste your access code into the "Enter access code" bar near the top of your My Products page, then click "Redeem."

 

 

8. Once its access code has been redeemed, your textbook will appear under your My Products listing. You can click the "Resources" button to the right of your textbook to access its online resources. If your textbook comes bundled with an online learning platform, like Davis Edge or Davis Advantage, you'll see a button for that platform beneath a textbook's "Resources" button. 

 

 

Trouble with Revealing and Redeeming Access Codes

If you encounter an “Access code already revealed” message on VitalSource and you do not recall accessing the code, or have other questions about accessing your VitalSource and courseware resources, contact VitalSource Support. Additionally, VitalSource has a bank of its own support articles.
